Where I’ve Been…
I’m so excited to be practicing massage and energy techniques here in the Grand Valley! I’m really happy to be one of the experienced massage therapists now practicing in Grand Junction. After running my own wellness center in Colorado for 13 years, I relocated to Fort Myers in 2020 where I taught massage therapy at Sunstate Academy for over a year.
During my time teaching, I enjoyed passing along my passion for the industry to my students, some of who I still maintain contact with today. And, while not practicing on a daily basis, I was also reminded how much I really love doing massage. So, I decided to leave my teaching position and started my own massage and energy practice in SWFL.
After trying out Florida for a couple of years, we decided to come back to our roots here in Colorado so we could be closer to family, friends, and the great lifestyle of outdoor living it so fabulously provides!
And Now…
In December of 2022, I joined in the venture with Kate from Mesa Lavender, who was creating a Healing Center within her new book and gift shop, New EARTHologie. When I walked in it felt like home and we’ve been renovating and getting things ready to make a difference in Grand Junction’s metaphysical community. We have recently opened our doors and have been enjoying meeting so many people who call the Grand Valley, home.
I’m so glad to be putting my hammer and drill down and getting back to my passion… massage and energy work. I take great pride in knowing I listen to all my clients, we come up with a customized plan for treatments, and my clients leave feeling both relaxed and rejuvenated in body, mind, and Spirit.
My Specialties
Chronic Pain Management
Many of my clients come to me for pain management through regular massage. Whether you are suffering with chronic pain or are recovering from surgery, accident, or injury, massage can be beneficial. Breaking neurological patterns, restoring muscle memory and integrity, and relieving body tensions will leave you feeling both relaxed and rejuvenated.
Migraine Relief
I have had great success with clients who have suffered with migraines. With a carefully designed treatment plan, I have been able to take multiple clients from daily migraines to no migraines with regular massage, and others have experienced decreased intensity and frequency.
Post-op Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Working with clients recovering from surgery has been very fulfilling. Whether it’s knee surgery or a tummy tuck, lymphatic drainage helps you with your recovery. Combined with other massage techniques that help with fascial recovery, range of motion, and more, getting frequent post-op lymphatic drainage massage can speed you along to get back to the things you love.
